Samuel Shin is an art photographer, musician, and pizza delivery man born in California in 1981. He moved to Maryland with his family when he was 13 years old. He has lived in 3 different regions of Maryland. On his 16th birthday his father gave him a Canon AE-1 program SLR film camera. He used this camera for his photography class in high school. Where he learned the fundamentals of camera work and the dark room. But he didn’t take photography seriously till he went to college for photography at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Ever since then he has had a stronger understanding of photography. While going to school in Philadelphia he first focused on architecture photography using the 4×5 view camera. Once he got out of photography school he only used DSLR cameras and photographed pretty much anything he liked. Art photography and art photographs quickly became one of his favorite things.
